# What's in the claim package PDF

> The claim package is a PDF with your policy details, the loss, every affected item and its original photos. Here's what's in it and why.

Insurers usually ask for a list of everything you lost, with values and proof. Claimfrog's **Insurance Claim Package** gives them all of it in one document you can download from [claim mode](https://www.claimfrog.com/help/start-a-claim).

## What's inside

1. **Policyholder & property:** your name, contact details and the property address.
2. **Insurance:** your insurer, policy number and agent.
3. **Loss details:** the type of loss, the date and your description.
4. **Rental stay** (guest damage claims): platform, guest, reservation code and dates, plus the before-and-after photos from the stay check.
5. **Summary:** number of items and total replacement value.
6. **Items:** a table of every affected item with its value.
7. **Item details and photo evidence:** each item's brand, model, serial number, purchase details and up to three of its original photos.

On Premium and Business, the package also includes the estimated [actual cash value](https://www.claimfrog.com/help/replacement-value-vs-actual-cash-value).

## Why it holds up

- Only photos you took are included. AI illustrations and store images are left out, and the package says how many were excluded.
- Each photo is printed with its SHA-256 fingerprint, computed from the original file when you uploaded it. An adjuster can check that a photo hasn't been changed since.
- Every page is numbered and labeled with the property.

## Tips

- Building the PDF can take a little while if there are many photos. Keep the page open until it downloads.
- Want the adjuster to see everything online, including receipts? Send a [read-only link](https://www.claimfrog.com/help/share-a-read-only-link) as well.
- Need a full inventory rather than a claim? Use the [inventory report](https://www.claimfrog.com/help/inventory-report).
