Most people underestimate what their belongings are worth until they have to replace them all. Claimfrog compares your inventory's total replacement value against your contents coverage and tells you when you are getting close.

## Set your coverage

1. Go to **Settings** and open **Coverage Amounts**.
2. Enter your **Personal Items Coverage** (also called contents or personal property coverage). It's on your policy's declarations page.
3. Optionally add your **Dwelling Coverage** and **Liability Coverage** for reference.
4. Click **Save**.

## What you'll see

The **Coverage Status** card on the dashboard shows your inventory total against your limit.

- At **80%** of your limit: "You're approaching your coverage limit". A good time to review your policy.
- Over **100%**: "You may be under-insured", with how much more your inventory is worth than your coverage.

From the card you can **Email my agent** with a pre-written coverage review request, or call them, using the agent details in **Settings › Insurance Details**.

## Email alerts and renewal reminders

1. In **Settings**, open **Coverage alerts**.
2. Turn on **Send coverage alerts**. You'll get an email when your inventory reaches 80% and 100% of your coverage.
3. Add your **Policy renewal date** to get a reminder to review your coverage 30 days before renewal each year.

Every alert email has an unsubscribe link.

## Good to know

- The comparison uses replacement values, because that's what you'd need to buy everything again.
- Sample items are never counted.
- Coverage, insurance, alert and rental settings can only be changed by the property owner.
