> Permanently delete your Claimfrog account and everything in it, after cancelling any paid subscription.

- Source: https://www.claimfrog.com/help/delete-your-account
- Product: Claimfrog, the home inventory app for insurance claims
- Topic: Account, billing and privacy
- Plan: Included on every plan, including Free.
- Updated: 2026-10-24

## Before you start

- **Cancel any paid subscription first** under **Profile › Billing & subscription › Manage subscription**. Claimfrog won't delete an account that is still being billed.
- **Want a copy?** Download a report or CSV from your inventory first. See [Export to CSV](https://www.claimfrog.com/help/export-to-csv).

## Steps

1. Click your profile (top right) and choose **Profile**.
2. Scroll to **Delete account** and click **Delete my account**.
3. If you use a password, enter it to confirm.
4. Type your email address and click **Delete permanently**.

You get a confirmation email once it's done.

## What's deleted

Your profile and sign-in, your inventory, item photos, receipts, claims, stay checks, share links, activity history and every property you own. People you shared your properties with lose access. Properties others shared with you aren't affected; you simply lose access to them.

This cannot be undone. Some records are kept where the law requires, such as billing records held by Stripe. See our [Privacy Policy](https://www.claimfrog.com/privacy-policy).
