# Edit or delete many items at once

When you need to reorganize, Claimfrog lets you select many items and change them in one go instead of editing each one.

## Select items

- Tick the box on each item you want.
- Hold **Shift** and click to select a range.
- Tick the box in the header to select every item on the page, then click **Select all matching items** to include every item that matches your search and filters, across all pages.

A bar appears with what you can do with the selection. On a phone it stays at the bottom of the screen.

## What you can do

- **Edit:** tick only the fields you want to change: **Move to room**, **Set category** or **Add tags** (tags need Premium). Click **Apply**.
- **Export CSV:** download just the selected items.
- **Print:** print the selected items.
- **Start claim:** open [claim mode](https://www.claimfrog.com/help/start-a-claim) with these items already picked.
- **Share:** create a [read-only link](https://www.claimfrog.com/help/share-a-read-only-link) for just these items (Premium).
- **Delete Selected:** permanently delete the items and their photos. This can't be undone.

## Good to know

- On a shared property you need the Editor role to edit or delete.
- Before a big delete, consider [exporting a CSV](https://www.claimfrog.com/help/export-to-csv) as a backup.
