The **Get claim-ready** card on your dashboard lists what is left to do, in the order that helps most. Finished steps collapse so you only see what's next.

## The steps

1. **Add your contents coverage limit.** So Claimfrog can warn you before your belongings outgrow your policy. See [Coverage limits and alerts](https://www.claimfrog.com/help/coverage-limits-and-alerts).
2. **Add your first item.** Snap a photo and let AI fill in the details. See [Add an item with a photo](https://www.claimfrog.com/help/add-an-item-with-a-photo).
3. **Document 10 items.** Start with the most valuable things in one room. On Premium, [room capture](https://www.claimfrog.com/help/capture-a-whole-room) does a whole room in a minute.
4. **Photograph your 5 most valuable items.** Original photos are your best proof of ownership.
5. **Add your insurance agent's contact.** So you can reach them in one tap when it matters.
6. **Record your first stay check** (short-term rentals only). Before-and-after photos protect you against guest damage.
