# Track and update your claims

> Keep your claims organized as Draft, Filed or Closed, record your claim number, and reopen or delete a claim.

Every claim you start in Claimfrog is listed on the **Claims** page with its status, item count, value and the date you created it.

## Statuses

- **Draft:** you're still preparing it.
- **Filed:** you've submitted it to your insurer or the platform.
- **Closed:** it's settled.

## Update a claim

1. Open **Claims**.
2. Click **Open** to change the details or affected items, then **Save claim**.
3. Click **More actions** (⋯) for:
   - **Mark as filed:** add the **Claim number** your insurer or the platform gave you. It then appears on the claim package and on shared links.
   - **Mark as closed** when it's settled.
   - **Reopen as draft** if you need to change it again.
   - **Delete draft** to remove a draft. Your items and photos are not affected.

## Good to know

- Add new evidence (photos, receipts) to the items themselves. The claim always uses the latest version of each item.
