Your claim-readiness score
What the claim-readiness score measures, why it's weighted by value, and the fastest ways to improve it.
The Claim readiness card on your Claimfrog dashboard shows how well your inventory would hold up in a claim.
What it measures
Adjusters ask two things about every item: can you prove you owned it (an original photo), and what is it worth (a value)? Receipts and serial numbers strengthen high-value items further.
The score is weighted by value, so a $3,000 laptop without a photo counts far more than a $10 mug. Your level is shown as Well documented, Getting there or Needs work.
What brings it down
The card lists what's missing, with counts:
- Items without an original photo
- Items without a value
- Electronics and valuables without a serial number
- Items without a receipt
- Items with only an AI or store image
Click any line to open the Items page filtered to those items.
Improve it fast
- Photograph your five most valuable items first.
- Add serial numbers to electronics.
- Upload receipts for anything expensive. Check your email for online orders.
- Replace AI illustrations with real photos.
Each item also shows small Claim-ready pills (Photo, Value, Receipt, Serial #) so you can see at a glance what it still needs.
