Change roles, remove access or leave a property
How Editor and Viewer roles work, how owners change or remove access, and how collaborators leave a property.

Everyone you invite to a Claimfrog property has a role that decides what they can see and change. The owner can change roles or remove people at any time, and collaborators can leave on their own.
What each role can do
- Owner: everything, including insurance details, coverage, alerts, rental settings, share links, inviting people and deleting the property.
- Editor: add, change and delete items; create and update claims; do stay checks and manage booking calendars.
- Viewer: see items, claims, stay checks and calendars, without changing anything. Viewers see a View only badge.
For owners
In Settings › Manage Access:
- Change someone's Role from the menu next to their name. It takes effect immediately.
- Click Remove to take away their access. They get an email letting them know.
If you move to a plan with fewer seats, nobody is removed automatically. You'll see a warning until you remove people down to your new limit.
For collaborators
In Settings › Manage Access you can see who has access and your own role.
To leave, click Leave property and confirm. You lose access to its items, claims and stay checks. The owner can invite you again later.
If an owner removes you while you're using the app, you'll see a notice and be switched to another property.
