Invite people to a property

Invite people who help you keep the inventory up to date, or who need to see it. They get their own Claimfrog login and see the property alongside their own.

Need to send your inventory to an adjuster or agent instead? Use a read-only link. They don't need an account.

How many people

• Premium: 1 other person per property.
• Business: up to 4 other people per property.

Pending invitations count toward the limit.

Steps

1. Select the property, go to Settings and open Manage Access.
2. Under Invite New User, enter their email address.
3. Choose a Role:
   • Editor: can add and change items, claims and stay checks.
   • Viewer: can see everything but not change it.
4. Click Invite.

What happens next

• They already have a Claimfrog account: they get access right away, plus an email with a link to the property.
• They're new: they get an invitation email. Once they sign up with that same email address and confirm it, the property appears in their account.

You get an email when they join. The seat counter shows how many seats are used.

Manage pending invitations

Under Pending invitations you can Resend an invitation or Cancel invitation. We remind invitees before an invitation expires, and tell you if one expires unanswered.

Good to know

• Only the property owner can invite people.
• Everyone on a property uses the owner's plan features there. A Free user you invite to your Premium property can use Premium features on it.
• Insurance details, coverage amounts, alerts and rental settings can only be changed by the owner.
