Manage multiple properties
Keep separate inventories for each home, rental or business location and switch between them from the header.
Included on the Business plan. Compare plans
Each property has its own items, rooms, insurance details, claims, stay checks and calendars. Keeping them separate matters: each property usually has its own policy and coverage limit.
Add a property
- Open the property menu in the header.
- Click Create New Property.
- Enter the type, name, address and rooms, then click Create Property.
Adding more than one property you own is part of the Business plan.
Switch between properties
Use the property menu in the header (or the menu on mobile). Your own properties are listed first, then Shared with you, showing who shared each one and a Viewer badge if you can only view it.
Everything in the app (dashboard, items, claims, host, settings) shows the selected property. Claimfrog remembers your choice, and links in our emails open the right property.
If you change to a plan with one property
Nothing is hidden or deleted. A banner reminds you that your plan includes one property; your other properties stay available, and you can upgrade again to keep adding to them.
Good to know
- Properties shared with you don't count toward your own limit, on any plan.
- Moving items between properties: export them to CSV from one and import into the other. Photos aren't included, so add them again where needed.
